About Joanne and The Chic Cake Boutique
My name is Joanne and I’m the owner of The Chic Cake Boutique. The Chic Cake Boutique is an award winning wedding cake company, which I established in 2014.
I am a qualified chef with a Degree in Culinary Arts with special emphasis on pastry from GMIT.
In 2008, I completed a course in Artistic Chocolate at Ecoile Gastronomique Bellouet Conseil in Paris. I have completed sugarcraft classes and online courses in Ireland and Europe.
I have won awards for my sugarcraft work. A Bronze medal at Sodexho salon culinaire. In addition I have received a highly commended and a commended for my sugarcraft work at Cork Sugarcraft Exhibition.
Each wedding cake on my menu have been baked using highest quality ingredients. All cakes combinations have been perfectly paired, using intresting seasonal flavours which compliments each cake flavour perfectly.

The Chic Cake Boutique is compliant with EU Food Safety Legislation. The kitchen where your wedding cake is baked and decorated is approved by the HSE. All personel working in the kitchen hold up to date food safety training certification. As well as allergen awarness certification with Acornstar.
