As part of the design process for your cake; I would ask brides bring along some information regarding the style of their big day. For example, fabrics, colours, flowers, your invitations,and other elements of your big day etc.
Yes. I can liaise with you via email and phone consultations and a tasting box can be arranged for collection or delivery. Tasting boxes consist of four cake flavours which are for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. Cake flavours may vary and are subject to availability. There is a charge of €25 per tasting box which is fully redeemable against your deposit should you choose to order.
If you would prefer a private consultation to discuss their wedding cake in person. You can taste up to five cake flavours,(Cake flavours may vary and are subject to availability).Consultations take place by appointment only and are available for up to 2 people.Consultations usually last approx. 45 minutes.A fee of €50 is charged per consultation, which needs to be paid in full to book your appointment and is fully redeemable against the cost of your cake should you choose to order your wedding cake from The Chic Cake Boutique.
Consultations are only available for wedding cake orders at present!!

I am compliant with EU Food Safety Legislation(Hygiene of Foodstuffs) Regulations 2006. and hold certification from The National Hygiene Partnership for Management of Food Hygiene.
No, not at present.
All cakes on my menu contain WHEAT, EGGS and DAIRY. All cakes are made in a kitchen which uses NUTS. The Chic Cake Boutique does NOT specialise in allergen-free cakes and cannot provide a complete “free from” environment because of the variety of ingredients we use in the different selection of cakes we produce.
From the 13 December 2014, all cakes supplied by The Chic Cake Boutique will be labelled in accordance with EU Regulations 1169/2011 on the Provision of Food Information to Consumers.
Yes.However certain fresh flowers are not a food product, and are not suitable for consumption and should not come in direct contact with the cake. Fresh flowers also may contain pesticides, insects, dirt and or other contaminants and MUST be REMOVED before cake is served. For continuity it is best that all flowers for the cake be supplied by your florist and flowers are ready for placement on cakes at your venue.
The Chic Cake Boutique cannot be liable for any contamination to your wedding cake that may arise from the misuse of fresh flowers.
A deposit is required on all rentals and is fully refundable provided the rental item(s) is/are returned in the same exact condition within 72 hours of the delivery date. After 48 hours the deposit will be fortified.All rental items must be returned within 48 hours of the event date stated on invoice.
I provide a full delivery and set up service of your cake on the morning of your wedding to your chosen venue. If you are supplying your own cake stand, flowers or any other accessories, these will need to be left at the cake table on day of delivery.Delivery is calculated, (based from Google Maps) on the distance from my residence in Co. Limerick to your venue at 50c per km.
I will arrive at the venue the morning of your wedding to set your your cake.This ensures that your cake will not be moved or inappropriately stored overnight.There is a fixed fee of €25 for set-up of a standard wedding cake.

Occasion cakes are collection only.
Cakes can be collected at a prearranged time. All cakes and treats will be packed correctly for transportation. Allow adequate space to allow your cake to sit upright (car seats are unsuitable for cake transportation) and your vehicle must be air- conditioned.You should give yourself adequate time to drive very slowly.
Once your cake and treats have left our premises, we are not be liable for any damage incurred they may incur.
When your cake is collected/delivered, You and your wedding coordinator will be issued with a cake information sheets which will give information on correct storage, correct labeling and serving information. All cakes are best consumed on day of delivery/collection.
I would advise that if there are any changes needed to your one should contact me one month prior to event date. I will do my best to accommodate any changes. Changes may affect the price of your cake.
There is a 50% non-refundable deposit required when ordering any cake(wedding and occasion),this will reserve your date, Final payment is due two weeks prior to the date of delivery/collection..
