About Us

I am a qualified chef with a Degree in Culinary Arts with special emphasis on pastry from GMIT.

In 2008, I completed a course in Artistic Chocolate at Ecoile Gastronomique Bellouet Conseil in Paris. I also completed sugarcraft classes and online courses in Ireland and Europe.

I have won awards for my sugarcraft work at sodexho salon culinare. In addition I have been highly commended for my sugarcraft work at Cork Sugarcraft Exhibition.

The Chic Cake Boutique is compliant with EU Food Safety Legislation. The kitchen where your wedding cake is baked and decorated is approved by the HSE.

All personel working in the kitchen hold up to date food safety training certification. As well as allergen awarness certification with Acornstar.

All cake and flavour combinations are carefully chosen,to give you that ultimate palatable experience; and also that wow factor centerpiece perfect for your special day.  Each cake has four layers and filled with a smooth Italian meringue buttercream which is flavoured to compliment the cake it is paired with, the addition of refreshing citrus curds, sweet conserves or delicate caramel and decadent chocolate for that extra depth of flavor. Cakes can be paired with a variety of nuts, fruits and spices to add a little texture,resulting in the ultimate palatable experience.

A cake can be decorated with a rustic or textured buttercream. Finished with seasonal fruits and fresh organic flowers. This style of cake definitely very popular and exposes the cakes natural beauty.

Cakes can also be simply finished with a layer of rich Belgian chocolate ganache or a fondant icing instead. Then simply decorated with fresh or sugar flowers. This style of cake will express that clean stylish finish.

I will consult with you via email and telephone. At the moment I am not holding private consultations. Instead a tasting box is available for delivery; Your cake mail will consists of 5 of the most popular cake flavours, delivered to you in a hamper style box to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home wth your family and friends. Your cake mail will be delivered to your Irish address via courier. A tasting box cost €40 per box prior to a deposit paid; This (€40) is fully redeemable against the cost of your cake should you choose to order your wedding cake from The Chic Cake Boutique.
