Wedding Cakes

The Chic Cake Boutique make wedding cakes that look elegant and taste fantastic showcasing the handmade sugar flowers. Each wedding cake is one of a kind and made according to the clients brief, therefore each cake is priced individually. The final price of your wedding cake will depend on the design, number of servings and delivery. Please contact me for a specific quotation. 

BOOKING YOUR DATE

Please allow at least 6 months notice as I only make limited number of wedding cakes per month. A €100 non-refundable deposit is required to proceed and secure your booking.  All quotations are valid for 30 days and a deposit is required to secure the date.We will then proceed with the design process.

DESIGNING YOUR WEDDING CAKE

I liaise with our clients via email or phone call during the design process. Here you will be asked to send photos for inspiration e.g. your colour scheme, bridal bouquet, in order to assist me in creating your wedding cake.  Any changes to the design can be made up to 8 weeks prior to your wedding day. Unfortunality I cannot make any changes to the design after this time frame.

Cake tasting:

I will consult with you via email and telephone. At the moment I am not holding private consltations. Instead a tasting box is available for delivery; This will be delivered to you in a hamper style box to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home wth your family and friends. Your “cake mail” will be delivered to your Irish address via An Post, (this box will need to be signed for). A tasting box cost €40 per box prior to a deposit paid; This (€40) is fully redeemable against the cost of your cake should you choose to order your wedding cake from The Chic Cake Boutique.

Please note:

Purchase of a tasting box DOES NOT automatically mean that your date is in my diary.

Fruit cake is not available for tasting boxes.

Certain cake flavours may not be available at times.

Allergen info:

 All cakes, cup cakes and cake pops on our menu contain wheat, eggs and dairy. All products in the menu are prepared in a kitchen which stores foods that are on the list of allergens. Please contact me for more information.

Delivery of your cake:

I will delivery and set up your Wedding cake on the morning of your wedding to your chosen venue. The delivery fee is calculated (based on Google Maps); from the distance from my residence in Co. Limerick to your venue at 60c per km.(return trip)

Set up of your wedding cake:

There is a charge of €35 for set-up of a standard wedding cake. Set-up for wedding cakes with fresh flowers and dessert tables are charged individually as these require longer set-up times.

Collection of your cake:

I prefer to deliver our wedding cakes as it is safer due to its fragile nature and the delicate and intricate set up your wedding cake may require. If  you choose to collect your wedding cake, The Chic Cake Boutique is not liable for any damage that may incur.

Allergen Information:

  • You will be provided with a list of allergens in your delivery/collection docket.
  • All cakes, cup cakes and cake pops contain wheat, eggs and dairy. Some contain nuts and chocolate.
  • All macarons contain nuts, eggs,dairy, fillings may contain chocolate and dairy*.
  • Ask for furder information when ordering.
  • Marshmallows contain gelatine and some may contain nuts and flavourings*.
  • Meringue Kisses contain eggs and colourings*.
  • Tartlets base contain eggs, flour, butter, fillings and will contain more ingredients*.
  • Brownies contain eggs, flour, soya, milk and flavourings*
  • All products are made in a kitchen which uses nuts.
  • Ask for more information before ordering as these items contain fillings, flavours and colourings that are not labeled here.
  • Availibility: Due to availability of ingredients some cake flavours may not be available at certain times.

Covered in a Beligian white chocolate ganache, buttercream or fondant. Most cakes will have four layers and will be 5″ deep,approximate servings sizes of all round cakes are 1″x 1″. The debth of your cake may change depending on the style of your wedding cake.

Classic Victoria Sponge:

A classic vanilla victotia sopnge infused with a vanilla syrup, layersd with a creamy vanilla buttercream and a hamemade raspberry conserve; and a vanilla white chocolate chocolate ganache.

Zesty Lemon Sponge:

Lemon Victoria sponge infused with a lemon syrup, layered with homemade lemon curd and creamy lemon buttercream; and a Belgian white chocolate and lemon ganache.

Coconut, Lime & Passionfruit:

A moist lime and coconut cake, filled with passionfruit curd and lime buttercream; and a white chocolate ganache.

Chocolate Fudge, Cherry & Vanilla :

Rich Belgian chocolate cake layered with a vanilla and cherry buttercream and a morello cherry conserve; and a kirsch flavoured Belgian  chocolate ganache

Belgian Chocolate Biscuit Cake:

This cake is made with callebaut Belgian chocolate and lots of biscuits, malteesers and marchmallows; and a Belgian white chocolate ganache.

Belgian Chocolate Rocky Road:

Chocolate biscuit cake made with callebaut Belgian chocolate and biscuits with the addition of honeycomb, sultanas, marshmallows and honey salted peanuts; and a Belgian white chocolate ganache.

Coffee Cake:

This distinctively decendent coffee cake; infuced with amaretto syrup, filled with a chocolate sauce and amaretto buttercream.

Lemon, Coconut & Blueberry:

A moist lemon and coconut cake studded with fresh blueberries and filled with lemon curd and lemon buttercream

Chocolate Fudge:

Rich moist Belgian chocolate cake layered with a Belgian white chocolate ganache.

Chocolate Peanut Fudge:

Rich moist Belgian chocolate cake layered with a caramel sauce and a peanut buttercream; and a Belgian white chocolate ganache.

Salted Caramel:

Moist Caramel Sponge layered  with a salted caramel buttercream and a salted Dulce de leche and a salted pecan praline Belgian  chocolate ganache.

Chocolate Hazelnut:

Rich moist Belgian chocolate cake layered with a Belgian milk chocolate ganache and hazelnut praline.  

Red Velvet & Cream Cheese:

A soft crumbed cake with distinctive red colour; made with buttermilk cocoa filled with a cream cheese buttercream and a Belgian white chocolate ganache

  • Only avaiable in a 6″ and 8″ cake.

Guinness Chocolate:

This distinctively dark chocolate cake; with chocolatey and malty aromas, filled with a caramelised Belgian white chocolate buttercream and a caramelised Belgian white chocolate ganache.

White Chocolate & Raspberry Biscuit Cake:

White chocolate biscuit cake made with callebaut Belgian chocolate and lightly spiced biscuits with the addition of honeycomb, marshmallows and Raspberries; and a Belgian chocolate ganache.

 Carrot, Cinnamon & vanilla:

Rich moist carrot cake; with added hints of citrus and spices, filled with a vanilla white chocolate buttercream and a star anise Belgian white chocolate ganache.

**  Only avaiable in a 6″ and 8″ cake.

Traditional Fruit:

A rich moist cake; which is infused with a rum liqueur, combined with fragrant spices, dried fruits and whole almonds; covered in an almond and fondant icing.

** 3 months notice needed for fruit cake.

** due to this cake needing to be matured; fruit cake samples are not available in tasting boxes.
